ABOUT THE PHOTO
Taxiing out for an excort mission, B-17G Flying Fortress, P-47D Thunderbolt and P-51D Mustang. A great sight to see at Duxford for the Flying Legends 2019 show, all three aircraft taxiing to the end of the runway, I was lucky enough to have all three in frame as they passed. B-17G 'Sally B' is a resident aircraft at Duxford, as well as P-51D mustang 'Sharky' (Now sporting a different paint scheme). P-47D 'Nellie' is currently based at Sywell airfield as part of the Ultimate Warbirds display team, but still attends other shows as a solo act.
