ABOUT THE PHOTO
The PBY-5A Catalina is based at Duxford, and attends many of the UK's airshows throughout the year, and was part of the North Weald Nightshoot back in 2019, offering some unique shots under the cover of darkness. The mix of backlighting and foreground light really add to the unusual shape of the Catalina, and her elegant curves.
