ABOUT THE PHOTO
P-51B Mustang, 'Berlin Express' takes off at Flying Legends 2017, and shortly after this shot was taken, she came in for a fast pass and in doing so, the malcolm hood completely detached from the aircraft and shattered on the runway. Which meant she was ruled out for anymore flying on that weekend, and had to stay in the UK until a new canopy arrived. She is still tucked away in the hangars at Duxford to this day (Feb, 2021).
